Andrew J. Wistrich is a former magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and is now a visiting fellow at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies of the University of London and a distinguished practitioner in residence at the Cornell Law School. He is the author or co-author of more than two dozen articles and book chapters regarding civil procedure and judicial decision making. He received his law degree from the University of Chicago.
