Franco Taroni is professor of forensic statistics at the University of Lausanne, also in the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration. He has authored and co-authored several books on the use of probabilities in the judicial context and is editor of the journal Law, Probability and Risk (Oxford University Press).
