Sheilah L. Martin was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada in 2017. She holds four law degrees, was a barrister, law professor, and dean, and sat on trial courts in Alberta and the Yukon and on the Courts of Appeal of Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
