Sandra Guerra Thompson is the Newell H. Blakely Professor of Law and director of the Criminal Justice Institute at the University of Houston Law Center. She is widely published in the areas of criminal law, evidence, the regulation of forensic science, and federal asset forfeiture. She is an elected member of the American Law Institute since 1999 and was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the ALI’s sentencing reform project.
