Dive into the Archive (Virtual Exhibit)

This year marks 10 years since the Bolch Judicial Institute of Duke Law took on the publication of Judicature — a widely acclaimed journal originally founded by the American Judicature Society. Thank you for supporting both the Institute and Judicature, and for joining us in this special, decade-by-decade exploration of nearly 110 years of the journal’s remarkable history.
How It Works
Each day, you’ll receive an email featuring an article from our vast Judicature archive. We selected one article from each decade (’40s, ’50s, ’60s, etc.). We didn’t choose these articles based solely on quality (that would have been impossible!); instead, we focused on variety and general intrigue. The first article, originally published in 1917 — the year Judicature was founded — will land in your inbox in just a few minutes. The rest will follow daily.
This virtual exhibit is part of a year-long celebration of Judicature’s “Decade at Duke,” made possible through the generous support of sponsors and individuals. As you enjoy this retrospective, we hope you’ll be inspired to help secure Judicature’s future for generations by making a tax-deductible gift or becoming a sponsor. Thank you!
