Subscriptions

Judicature publishes a print edition for U.S. judges three times per year: February, June, and October. International Judicature is an online-only journal that publishes new content each month.

Duke Law School began publishing Judicature with Volume 99, Issue 1, in May 2015, after taking the publication over from the American Judicature Society, which published volumes 1 through 98. Below are the answers to frequently asked questions about our subscription process. If you have additional questions, please contact us at judicature@law.duke.edu.

Do you offer an agency discount?
No.

Do you accept advertising?
We cannot accept advertising because of our nonprofit status. However, we do accept sponsorships from individuals and organizations. Sponsorships help offset the cost of the journal’s production and the complimentary subscriptions we offer to all Article III judges, federal magistrate judges, state supreme court justices, and other members of the judiciary. Sponsors are recognized in our donor rolls in the publication and online, and certain sponsorship levels include sponsorship notices within the publication. Annual and single-issue sponsorships are available. See our sponsorship page for details, and contact Stacey Young at judicature@law.duke.edu to obtain publishing schedules and editorial calendars.

Do you accept cancellations, and are refunds offered?
We accept cancellations, but we cannot offer refunds.

What is the time limit for submitting claims (e.g. claims for missing or damaged issues)?
You must submit a claim for a lost or damaged issue within one year of the publication date. However, we maintain a low stock of back issues, so please notify us as soon as possible of any problems.

How do I contact you to file a claim?
You may contact us by mail, phone, fax, or email. Please tell us your mailing address and the volume and issue number for which you are filing a claim.
