Ann A. Scott Timmer is vice chief justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. She has served as a judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals, and before being appointed to the bench, she practiced primarily commercial law for 15 years in Phoenix. She is a 2018 graduate of the Duke Law Master of Judicial Studies program.
