Terry A. Maroney is the Robert S. and Theresa L. Reder Chair in Law and Professor of Medicine, Health, and Society at Vanderbilt University. A former law clerk and litigator, Professor Maroney researches the role of emotion in judicial experience and behavior, and works closely with judicial groups in the U.S. and abroad to help judges recognize and respond productively to the human aspects of judicial work.
